(Actually, I got several really exciting emails yesterday that gave me a serious case of the warm fuzzies, but more on that later.) The email that I'm talking about today was from GoDesana (a green organics international company), telling me that I had made money with their company without even trying.
I recently signed up for a free account with GoDesana. I had no intention of earning any extra income with this company; I simply wanted to try out some of their oils.
You see, I actually swore off doing any MLM business quite a while ago. I've started my fair share of direct sales and work from home businesses (Melaleuca, anyone?), and they have generally cost me more than I ever earned with them.
You can imagine my surprise when, a week or so after signing up for my free GoDesana account and doing nothing with it whatsoever, I received an email saying that a new member had been placed in my downline. And, a few days after that, an email that this member had placed an order- meaning residual income for me without my even trying.
Pretty exciting in my book :)
Granted, it was not much. Obviously, the more energy one puts into something like this, the more one gets out of it. The other cool thing I would like to mention about GoDesana is that the monthly investment to be eligible for compensation is only 20BV (approximately $30USD), which is a LOT less than what I was paying for with other companies, and makes it accessible for practically everyone. When I was working with Melaleuca, for instance, I had to pay an average of $80 a month for products that I found I wasn't able to use up in a month (I still have unused bottles of Tough 'n' Tender sitting in the basement!).
